Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for managing a team and ensuring that inventory is efficiently managed and stored while maintaining the highest safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
• Lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring effective training and development.
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Implement and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transportation and delivery schedules.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and operating within health and safety standards.
• Prepare reports on warehouse activities and performance metrics.
• Manage stock levels to meet demand without overstocking.
• Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking and reporting.
• Assist with the development of strategic plans for warehouse operations.
