Job Description

Animal Care Clinic is on the lookout for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to enhance our Cape Town practice. You will work collaboratively with our veterinary team to ensure the best treatment plans for animals. Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat a variety of medical conditions in pets.
  • Execute surgical interventions with precision and care.
  • Provide emergency care and first aid when needed.
  • Offer guidance to clients about animal health and nutrition.
  • Develop tailored healthcare plans for patients.
  • Engage in continuous education and professional development.
  • Oversee the training of junior veterinary staff.
  • Maintain wellness and preventive care protocols.
  • Review and analyze diagnostic tests and lab results.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Postgraduate qualification in veterinary medicine is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary practice
