Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee our construction projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, construction processes, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. You will lead project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling of construction crews and subcontractors to maximize productivity.
• Manage the project budget, ensuring costs are kept within limits and identifying areas for savings.
• Coordinate site inspections and liaise with local authorities for necessary permits.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns that arise.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Utilize project management software to track progress, costs, and schedules.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Master's in Project Management would be advantageous

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in managing large scale construction projects
