Job Description

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Pharmacist to enhance our services in Port Elizabeth. As a crucial part of our healthcare delivery, you will manage medication dispensing, offer medication counseling, and implement best practices in safety and quality within the pharmacy service.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with patients to provide personalized pharmaceutical care.
  • Conduct medication therapy management services.
  • Stay informed about developments in pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
  • Investigate and resolve any patient-related medication issues.
  • Contribute to community health initiatives and outreach programs.
  • Assist in inventory management and reporting discrepancies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
  • Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
Experience
  • 2-4 years as a registered pharmacist in a community or clinical setting
