Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Pharmacist to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, consulting with patients, and ensuring medication safety. Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on prescription medications.
• Counsel patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy.
• Manage order and inventory control processes.
• Conduct medication reviews and reconcile therapy regimens.
• Participate in health promotion activities.
• Manage customer queries and assist in resolving concerns.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of pharmacy experience

• Medication Therapy Management

Certifications

• South African Pharmacy Council Registration
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
