Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate bottlenecks in production processes.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational quality.
• Develop project plans for process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct capacity analysis to optimize production lines.
• Facilitate workshops to stimulate creative solutions within teams.
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables.
• Generate actionable insights from data analysis.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements for process changes.
• Drive multitasking initiatives to improve project efficiency.
• Prepare budget proposals for technology enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in relevant industrial engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Value Stream Mapping
• Root Cause Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Industrial Engineer (CIE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
