Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess strong pharmaceutical knowledge and will be dedicated to providing excellent patient care. This role involves dispensing medications, advising patients on health issues, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and process prescription orders from patients.
  • Conduct patient consultations regarding medication usage.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all pharmaceutical products.
  • Provide immunizations and conduct health assessments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients on medication side effects and interactions.
  • Participate in community outreach programs for health education.
  • Assist in implementing pharmacy initiatives for improvement.
  • Document medication-related queries and resolutions.
  • Maintain professional standards and ethics in practice.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • PharmD preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
