Accountant

Job Description

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with accurate financial advice and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
• Monitor cash flow and provide insights into financial health.
• Create and manage financial policies to enhance efficiency.
• Assist clients with queries regarding tax and financial reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Accounting or related field is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar role is preferable

• Financial Reporting

Certifications

• CPA Certification is a plus
• ISO Certification is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
