An exciting opportunity awaits for an Electrical Engineer to join our Cape Town team. You will play a critical role in developing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards while spearheading innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with multidisciplinary teams on complex engineering projects.
• Oversee testing of electrical systems and review performance metrics.
• Provide expert advice on electrical engineering aspects and resolve technical issues.
• Develop project specifications and determine project budget.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality of deliverables.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in engineering practices.
• Evaluate and recommend design modifications as needed.
• Maintain project documentation and records throughout project life cycles.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
• Support the implementation of energy-efficient solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
