Job Description

Join us as a Compliance Officer in Johannesburg where you will oversee adherence to local and international regulations. In this role, you will develop policies, conduct assessments, and create compliance training programs for staff. Your expertise will help us navigate complex regulatory landscapes and mitigate risks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform compliance risk assessments and audits.
• Create and update compliance training materials.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies.
• Ensure timely submission of required regulatory reports.
• Evaluate existing compliance programs for effectiveness.
• Develop action plans to enhance compliance measures.
• Coordinate with legal counsel on compliance issues.
• Assist in the development of the company’s overall compliance strategy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional compliance certification (e.g. CCEP, CICA) is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in compliance management or a related area
