Job Description

As a Cloud Solutions Architect in our Cape Town office, you will design robust cloud solutions tailored to our clients' needs. This role combines technical know-how with innovative thinking, contributing to the advancement of our cloud computing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud solution design meetings with stakeholders.
• Analyze and troubleshoot cloud service issues to maintain performance.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services based on project goals.
• Create and oversee cloud service budgets and optimize spending.
• Educate staff on cloud usage and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or similar
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in designing cloud solutions

Technical Skills

• GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Cloud Security Best Practices

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in multi-cloud environments: Experience managing resources across different cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Serverless Architectures: Understanding of building applications using serverless technologies.
