Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and streamline our supply chain operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of supply chain processes, and a passion for optimizing performance and reducing costs.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage budgets for supply chain operations.
• Analyze market trends to anticipate changes in supply chain demand.
• Optimize logistics plans to reduce costs and enhance service levels.
• Ensure seamless communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Collaborate with IT to improve supply chain systems and technologies.
• Establish key performance indicators to measure supply chain effectiveness.
• Lead negotiations with new suppliers to secure beneficial terms.
• Review and improve supply chain documentation and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role
