Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of projects, including road construction, drainage systems, and environmental impact assessments. You will work closely with project managers and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations.
• Prepare project budgets and manage financial performance.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and proposals.
• Provide technical advice and support to project teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Certification in Project Management is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects

• Civil3D
• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with site supervision: Proven track record of supervising construction sites.
