We are seeking a passionate Chemical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work on various projects pertaining to the development and optimization of chemical processes. This role requires expertise in chemical manufacturing, safety protocols, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop process flow diagrams and equipment specifications.
• Support the integration of new technologies into existing processes.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and product lines.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality materials are used.
• Assist in budget preparation and resource allocation for projects.
• Monitor industry trends and advancements to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.
• Ensure that all processes comply with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Higher diploma in chemical technology is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing
