Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Durban warehouse. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of warehouse processes to manage inventory efficiently and ensure safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and staff activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Manage inventory levels and stock control processes.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Train new staff on warehouse procedures and safety practices.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for timely shipment of goods.
• Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance for management.
• Handle discrepancies and resolve operational issues promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in Supply Chain Management is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics

Technical Skills

• Inventory Management
• Forklift Operation

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
