Job Description

As a Fleet Safety Supervisor, you will oversee the management of safety protocols within our fleet operations in Pretoria. This role requires a strong focus on compliance, risk management, and ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to. You will work closely with our logistics and operations teams to enhance overall fleet safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety innovation projects to enhance fleet management.
  • Organize and participate in safety committees and meetings.
  • Communicate safety expectations effectively to all team members.
  • Liaise with authorities and stakeholders regarding safety regulations.
  • Maintain records of all safety training and incidents.
  • Provide regular feedback on fleet safety performance to senior management.
  • Encourage employee engagement in safety programs.
  • Implement corrective actions based on safety audits and incident reviews.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline
  • Postgraduate qualification in Safety Management is an advantage

  • 5+ years experience in fleet safety or compliance roles
