We are seeking a passionate Textile Specialist to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a variety of fabrics to create innovative designs and ensure quality in production. Candidates should have a strong background in textile technology and design, along with a flair for creativity.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed specifications for fabric production.
• Oversee the sampling process and approve prototypes.
• Work closely with production teams to resolve any issues.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs.
• Evaluate and recommend manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Prepare reports on fabric performance and quality metrics.
• Participate in fashion trade shows and exhibitions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in textile design or production
