Job Description

As a Technical Writer at Innovative Tech Solutions, you will play a crucial role in developing clear and concise documentation for our software solutions. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and users to gather information and create user-friendly manuals, online help, and other technical materials that enhance the user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and effective content.
  • Review and refine documentation processes and tools to improve efficiency.
  • Create visuals such as screenshots, diagrams, and infographics to enhance documentation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and standards in technical writing.
  • Prepare documentation for localization and translation as needed.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
  • Participate in user testing to gather feedback on documentation usability.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing for software products

Certifications
  • Society for Technical Communication (STC) Member
