Job Description

We are searching for a Clinical Psychologist committed to enhancing the mental health of our community in Pretoria. You will be responsible for assessing patients, designing treatment strategies, and delivering therapy, contributing to our mission of mental health improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' mental health through interviews, tests, and clinical observations.
  • Provide a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish and pursue their therapeutic goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with health regulations.
  • Educate clients about mental health and available resources.
  • Participate in staff trainings to enhance clinical skills.
  • Advocate for psychological practices within the community.
  • Conduct follow-up consultations to assess progress.
  • Connect clients with additional support services as needed.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology
  • PhD in Psychology is a plus
Experience
  • Previous experience in private practice is advantageous
