Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Research Associate to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for medical research and a strong understanding of clinical trial processes. You will oversee study sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocol adherence while also mentoring clinical staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site evaluations and report findings to management.
  • Support the development of clinical protocols and amendments.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and support their professional growth.
  • Collect and maintain study documentation and records.
  • Lead efforts to ensure timely reporting of trial results.
  • Manage study logistics including supplies and resources.
  • Act as a liaison between sponsors and investigators.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Medical Sciences
  • Master's degree in Public Health is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical research, with at least 2 years in a monitoring role
