Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our innovative team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will harness their analytical skills to drive financial strategies and enhance data-driven decisions. You'll work closely with senior leadership to develop forecasts, budgets, and financial reports that inform our operational strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive financial analysis, ensuring accuracy in reports.
• Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts to guide managerial decisions.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify root causes of financial discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial reporting processes.
• Provide input on investment opportunities and potential risks.
• Prepare and present financial presentations at board meetings.
• Identify financial operational challenges and propose solutions.
• Assist in the implementation of new financial systems or tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Analysis or Business Administration
• Professional certifications (CFA, CPA) are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in finance roles, preferably in analysis
