Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be involved in planning, designing, and overseeing various construction projects, while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs and technical drawings for various projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Evaluate the performance of construction projects and suggest improvements.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and tenders.
• Utilize software tools for project management and design visualization.
• Oversee environmental assessments and efforts to minimize project impact.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and management.
• Implement best practices in construction and safety protocols.
• Review and interpret geological and topographical surveys.
• Provide mentorship and training to new staff members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant civil engineering experience
