Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Resource Program Teacher to join our educational institution. The role involves working with students who require additional support in their learning process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and possess strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and modify educational materials to suit the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Conduct individual and group assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Implement behavior management techniques to support student learning.
  • Work collaboratively with speech and occupational therapists as required.
  • Encourage students to set and achieve personal learning goals.
  • Advocate for the needs of students with special educational requirements.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Special Education
  • Teaching certification/license
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Special Education are advantageous.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in special needs education.
