We seek a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team in nurturing and educating infants. In this role, you will create a safe and stimulating environment that fosters physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities
Design and conduct engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental stages of infants.
Observe and assess children's interactions and skill development as part of ongoing evaluation.
Foster a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure a holistic approach to education.
Oversee cleanliness and safety of the classroom and play areas.
Facilitate workshops or parent engagement activities to enhance community involvement.
Support the emotional and social development of children through positive reinforcement.
Document and report any concerns regarding children's behavior or development.
Participate actively in community outreach programs to promote the preschool.
Requirements
Education
National Certificate in Early Childhood Development (NQF Level 4)
Higher qualification in Early Childhood Education is preferred
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in preschool education, specifically with infants.
