Job Description

As a Civil Engineer in our Pretoria office, you will play a key role in developing solutions for complex engineering challenges. You will lead project teams, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to groundbreaking infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design projects from concept to completion.
• Review project plans and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with national and local engineering standards.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project proposals.
• Conduct risk assessments and devise mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance project innovation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering registration is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management
• Structural Analysis

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Knowledge of environmental regulations: Understanding of environmental laws and regulations relevant to civil engineering projects.
