We are on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will specialize in designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems and components. You will play a pivotal role in implementing engineering principles and practices, ensuring our mechanical systems are efficient, reliable, and sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D designs.
• Perform simulations and analyses to validate designs.
• Prepare technical specifications and project documentation.
• Assist in project management and delivery timelines.
• Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster innovation.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams for compliance checks.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and project management

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
