Job Description

As a Health and Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet safety standards throughout the development and production processes. Your expertise will help us maintain compliance and protect our consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Review and enhance existing product safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct safety audits within the manufacturing processes.
  • Engage in product lifecycle assessments to identify safety risks.
  • Work closely with R&D teams to ensure safety is integrated from the design phase.
  • Compile and analyze data from safety tests to inform product improvements.
  • Update documentation to reflect compliance with new regulations.
  • Act as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries and issues.
  • Facilitate workshops to instill a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Coordinate external testing and certification processes.
  • Provide detailed reports to management on safety findings and compliance status.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in safety compliance testing
