Job Description

We are looking for a talented Cloud Architect in Pretoria who will take charge of designing cloud infrastructures. The role requires a solid understanding of cloud services and systems, along with experience in DevOps methodologies to ensure smooth operation and integration of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable cloud solutions based on business needs.
• Lead cloud migration projects and ensure minimal downtime during transitions.
• Analyze cloud usage patterns to optimize costs and resources.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance overall cloud capabilities.
• Ensure cloud services comply with industry regulations and best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in cloud operations.
• Develop training materials and sessions for teams on cloud technologies.
• Facilitate discussions on recent cloud trends and solutions.
• Implement cloud monitoring tools to proactively address performance issues.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud discussions with clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in a related discipline preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud-based solutions
