Garment Production Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Garment Production Manager to lead our production line in Durban. This role involves managing fabric sourcing, production timelines, and quality assurance to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship in our fashion designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the garment production process from conception to final product.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and conduct regular inspections.
• Train and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of improvement and teamwork.
• Collaborate closely with design teams to align production with design intent.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and optimize efficiency.
• Oversee material sourcing and manage supplier relationships.
• Communicate production statuses and challenges to senior management.
• Implement safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Encourage innovative practices in production techniques and materials usage.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or Fashion Production
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
