Interior Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of design principles and a strong aesthetic sense to create inviting and functional spaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to define project scope.
• Research and source furnishings, fixtures, and materials.
• Prepare and present detailed design drawings using CAD software.
• Ensure designs are functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing client needs with company resources.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the project.
• Offer expert advice regarding colour, texture, and materials.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to improve future designs and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Interior Design is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in interior design with project management skills

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering Software
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Adaptability

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
