UX Researcher

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Researcher to join our vibrant team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding user behaviour and translating insights into compelling designs. You will work collaboratively with designers and developers to create user-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Analyze user needs and behaviour to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user personas and journey maps.
• Prepare research findings to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Engage in iterative design processes, providing feedback and recommendations.
• Stay updated on the latest UX trends and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Psychology, or a related field
• Master's degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in UX research or related fields

Technical Skills

• User Testing
• Data Analysis
• Prototyping Tools

Soft Skills

• Empathy

Certifications

• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Understanding of Agile frameworks and their application in design processes.
