Job Description

We are searching for an IT Support Technician to join our vibrant team in East London. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills and be adept at troubleshooting hardware and software issues. This role involves being the first point of contact for IT-related inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to provide seamless support to our staff and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts and access permissions.
  • Respond promptly to support requests via phone and email.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Assist with data backups and recovery processes.
  • Participate in the upgrade and installation of new systems.
  • Provide user support for software applications.
  • Maintain inventory of all IT assets and equipment.
  • Assist in creating user manuals and documentation.
  • Evaluate new technologies for potential application.
  • Work with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or related area
