Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of animal conditions.
  • Perform routine and complex surgical procedures.
  • Offer preventative care and health-promoting advice to pet owners.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Engage with pet owners to discuss treatment plans and follow-ups.
  • Provide support and leadership to veterinary nurses.
  • Take part in continuing education to enhance skills.
  • Utilize vet technology and equipment effectively.
  • Participate in case discussions and team meetings.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet patient care demands.

Requirements

Education
  • Veterinary Medicine Degree from an accredited institution
  • Current Veterinary registration with the relevant statutory body
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in veterinary practice
