Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat dental conditions.
  • Perform dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions.
  • Educate patients on oral health and hygiene.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists.
  • Stay updated with the latest dental techniques and technologies.
  • Manage patient referrals to specialists when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and events.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Dental Medicine or related field
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a dental practice
