Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SEO best practices, with the ability to conduct thorough keyword research and implement effective on-page and off-page strategies. You will collaborate closely with our content and development teams to ensure the website’s performance meets industry standards, driving organic traffic and improving search rankings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of SEO strategy and execution.
• Analyze competitor strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure all content produced is optimized for search engines.
• Collaborate with digital marketing teams to enhance email campaigns with SEO insights.
• Prepare and present SEO reports to stakeholders.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current SEO strategies and iterate as necessary.
• Assist in the development of landing pages that convert.
• Engage in link-building activities to enhance domain authority.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of SEO tools and techniques.
• Facilitate workshops to improve team understanding of SEO.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related discipline
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in SEO with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
