Job Description

As the Tool Crib Supervisor, you will manage the operations of our tool crib, ensuring that inventory is maintained, tools are properly stored, and operational efficiency is maximized. You will oversee a team responsible for tool distribution and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory records are accurately maintained and updated.
• Lead a team of tool crib attendants in daily operations.
• Conduct regular audits of tools and equipment for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with production teams to understand tool requirements.
• Implement safety protocols for the handling of tools and equipment.
• Analyze tool usage patterns to optimize inventory management.
• Manage the tool crib's budget and track all related expenses.
• Serve as the main contact for tool-related inquiries from staff.
• Ensure timely delivery and maintenance of tools as required.
• Document maintenance logs and prepare reports for management.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Diploma or degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in supervisory roles within a warehouse or tool crib environment
