Job Description

As a General Practitioner, you will play a critical role in our healthcare facility in Durban. Your responsibilities will include conducting examinations, prescribing treatment, and promoting preventive healthcare practices. This is a fantastic opportunity to impact the community positively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform health screenings and physical exams.
  • Develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
  • Guide patients through preventive health strategies such as vaccinations.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
  • Facilitate referrals to specialists as required.
  • Conduct follow-up visits for chronic condition management.
  • Educate patients on medications and side effects.
  • Participate in staff meetings and continuous education opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 2+ years' experience as a General Practitioner preferred
