Sound Engineering Technician

Job Description

As a Sound Engineering Technician, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating audio equipment for live events and studio recordings. The ideal candidate will have a keen ear for sound quality and a passion for audio production.

Responsibilities

• Operate sound mixing consoles during live events.
• Maintain and configure microphones and other sound equipment.
• Assist in the setup of stage elements related to audio.
• Provide technical support during events and recordings.
• Record and mix audio tracks for post-production.
• Conduct sound checks before events to ensure optimal sound quality.
• Work closely with other technicians and artists to achieve desired audio results.
• Keep records of equipment usage and maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering or related field
• Professional certification in audio production is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the audio production industry

• Audio signal processing
