Job Description

As a Logistics Manager, you will oversee logistics operations in Pretoria, ensuring efficient management of the supply chain from procurement to delivery. Your leadership will be vital in optimizing resources, managing inventory, and coordinating transportation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise logistics operations and manage daily activities.
  • Create and implement logistics strategies for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain relationships with logistics partners and stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies.
  • Lead logistics projects to improve service delivery.
  • Design and implement training programs for logistics staff.
  • Utilize logistics software for tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
  • Prepare budgets and manage departmental expenditures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field
  • Master's degree in Management is preferred
