Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Durban. You will be responsible for optimizing production processes and enhancing operational efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background along with solid experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing manufacturing systems for compliance with operational standards.
• Review and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Develop project plans and timelines for engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the workplace.
• Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address production challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in process improvement within manufacturing
