Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating public health programs to improve community health outcomes. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead public health research projects and community assessments.
• Formulate actionable health policies based on data analysis.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars to educate the public on health issues.
• Serve as a liaison between the public and healthcare resources.
• Identify opportunities for grant funding and other resources to support health initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to public health programming.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or Health Administration is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in public health or health promotion
