Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our innovative design team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the design and development of architectural projects from concept to completion. A strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and environmental sustainability is essential. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to create functional and aesthetic spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural design projects from concept through to completion.
• Develop and present project proposals, designs, and specifications.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any challenges.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
• Mentor junior architects and interns in project development and design principles.
• Stay updated on current architectural trends and technologies.
• Prepare detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Engage in community and client outreach to promote architectural services.
• Foster cohesive teamwork within the design department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is highly advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in architectural projects
