Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our innovative design team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the design and development of architectural projects from concept to completion. A strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and environmental sustainability is essential. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to create functional and aesthetic spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process, creating innovative solutions to meet client needs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate aesthetics with functionality.
• Review project designs for compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct design reviews and present ideas to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful deliverables.
• Provide detail-oriented solutions to construction issues as they arise.
• Utilize software tools for 3D modeling and visualization.
• Oversee post-occupancy evaluations to assess design effectiveness.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Collaborate with urban planners and landscape architects on site integration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is highly advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in architectural projects
