Public Health Specialist

Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to assess health needs, implement health promotion programs, and work towards the overall improvement of community health standards. Your expertise will help shape public health initiatives in the region.

Responsibilities

• Design health education materials and resources.
• Coordinate health assessments and screenings within the community.
• Leverage data analytics to inform health program development.
• Convene focus groups to gather community health feedback.
• Work closely with government entities on public health initiatives.
• Engage in continuous community networking to address emergent health concerns.
• Implement evaluation metrics to track success and areas for growth.
• Facilitate experiential learning sessions for stakeholders.
• Support initiatives focused on reducing health disparities.
• Provide public presentations on the impact of health programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or Healthcare Administration is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in public health program implementation
