Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Counsellor to provide individual and group therapy to clients facing a variety of mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others. You will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering effective counselling services.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals to optimize care.
  • Participate in case reviews and contribute to team discussions.
  • Document all sessions and client interactions accurately.
  • Promote mental health awareness through community outreach programs.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques to empower clients towards change.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience preferred in a counselling capacity
