Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Driver/Sales Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to customers, ensuring timely and efficient service while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery routes efficiently and safely in compliance with company standards.
• Perform inspections to ensure vehicle readiness before trips.
• Update delivery logs and communicate any issues to supervisors.
• Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery timing.
• Maintain a clean driving record and excellent communication skills.
• Train new drivers on company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional driving certifications preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics or sales.

Technical Skills

• Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
• Basic math skills

Soft Skills

• Customer service orientation
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Defensive Driving Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Manual Transmission Experience: Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Knowledge of Goods Transported: Familiarity with the nature of goods being delivered.
