Transportation Planner

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Planner to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will bring experience in developing transport strategies to improve urban transportation systems. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to create and implement efficient transportation solutions that meet community needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation modeling efforts to assess project impacts.
• Prepare and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical support and expertise to project teams.
• Monitor and evaluate project performance and make recommendations.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with stakeholders to promote collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is a strong advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a related field

Certifications

• Certified Urban Planner (CUP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
