Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of oral healthcare for patients.
• Conduct patient consultations and explain treatment options clearly.
• Perform routine cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
• Incorporate advanced technologies and equipment in procedures.
• Regularly participate in continued education workshops.
• Assist in managing inventory and dental supplies.
• Collaborate on enhancing practice protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance reviews.
• Advise patients on lifestyle choices affecting oral health.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Additional specializations in dentistry preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in private practice

Technical Skills

• Cosmetic Dentistry
• Oral Surgery
• Pediatric Dentistry

Soft Skills

• Patient Management
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry
• HPCSA Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Membership in dental associations: Active participation in local or national dental associations is preferred.
• Fluency in additional local languages: Ability to speak other local languages is advantageous.
