Job Description

We are in search of an Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing control systems for various electrical applications, ensuring high efficiency and performance while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of PLC and SCADA systems.
• Test and validate control strategies to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with vendors and clients to understand project requirements.
• Support field technicians during troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate with team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Control Systems is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the industry

• HMI Development
• Automation Technologies

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical: Ability to create and modify electrical schematics and layouts.
