Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in designing and improving our products, ensuring they meet both user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce accurate technical drawings and specifications for mechanical parts.
• Work closely with product teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs.
• Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD for drafting and modeling.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all designs.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings and provide input on design processes.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by providing feedback on design processes.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior drafter team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical drafting or product design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SolidWorks
• Technical Documentation
• 3D Modeling
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Prototyping: Familiarity with prototyping techniques for mechanical products.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects and coordinate teams effectively.
