We are in search of a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and innovative problem-solving abilities to design, develop, and test mechanical systems and products. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD software and an understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design review meetings and provide feedback.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for mechanical systems.
• Research and integrate new technologies into existing systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and external partners for component sourcing.
• Ensure projects adhere to timelines and budget constraints.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the mechanical engineering field
